"Dear Landlord,

My name is Maria Beatriz Veloso, and I am a 21-year-old Portuguese student. I have been admitted to study at HKU – Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht – from the end of August 2025 until the end of January 2026, as part of the Erasmus+ exchange programme in Arts and Economics – Minor Creating Collectives.

Currently, I am in the final year of my Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Programming and Production at the School of Arts and Design in Caldas da Rainha (ESAD.CR), Portugal. I am deeply passionate about culture, visual arts, education, and community projects, and I have actively participated in exhibitions, performances, and cultural events, both academic and extracurricular.

In terms of personality and daily lifestyle, I am very organized, respectful, and quiet. I don’t smoke, don’t have pets, and I enjoy peaceful routines focused on studying, cooking, reading, and journaling, as well as visiting museums, cultural spots, and enjoying photography or nature walks. I also love listening to music and practicing yoga, which helps me keep a balanced and positive lifestyle. Over the past two years, I have lived in shared apartments and student housing, always respecting privacy, shared spaces, and house rules.

I have been actively searching for accommodation for several weeks, but it has been challenging to find suitable places for international students staying for just one semester. Your studio seems perfect for me – safe, independent, well-located, and within my budget.

Financially, my Erasmus mobility is fully supported by my parents, who both have permanent contracts and a combined monthly income of around €6,700. Additionally, I receive an Erasmus+ grant from my home university. To confirm my seriousness and reliability, I am willing to pay up to three months’ deposit.
